Where do I start,
Well about three months ago I agreed to sell a property to someone for the sum of 55k, we wrote up a receipt for a deposit b4 a solicitor got involved, there have been a few queries along the way, and I think that the buyer will be pulling out. So what I would like to know now roughly is where do I stand, my solicitor mucked up about 18yrs ago with ref to a right of way, and their solicitor would appear to be blatantly lying to him about how things are going. I am willing to give them the deposit back, but would I be expected to give interest?
Also, are there any steps I can take against them, his solicitor, or our solicitor?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I realise there are probably a million things to bear in mind, I just wanna get some sleep tonight.
Cheers
Ron
