How much should i be looking to sell my car for?

Specification:
RB5 no 083
Scoobysport Downpipe
WRSport Backbox
WRSport Rear Spoiler
Dawes Device
ITG Air Filter
EBC Turbo discs
EBC Greenstuff Pads
Goodridge Hoses
Kenwood PS series headunit
Front and back speaker upgrade (250watt/150watt)
Boost Gauge & Pod
Brand new Pirelli P-zero's
Front/side clear indicators

50K on the clock with FSSH.

I want a Type R 3dr and am wondering what market value my car holds and also a part ex value too. For those who have some info on values etc it would be appreciated if you could reply.

I've seen a Type R for £14995 with 50k on the clock, one owner and full UK service. Its been in the UK from new. Is £14995 too much as i know nothing about imports.

Thanks.

Basically, you're talking about an average-mileage RB5 with a few mods. The mods don't really increase the value - could even drop it.

I'd say you're looking at about 12-13k, maybe less.

BTW, the Type-R with 50k on the clock is almost certainly overpriced. Assuming its an MY98/99 (STI IV or V) I'd say it's a couple of thousand too expensive. When I tried to sell my immaculate, one-owner, 3.5 year-old STI which was in the UK from new and had 45k on the clock, I had absolutely no interest at all even at 11-12k.

Modifications can certainly detract from the value of the car. It may be an idea to consider selling those separately / replacing them with the original Subaru part.

Have no clue as to pricing, as I don't own a Scoob, but the above is from experiences on the Zed board.

I'm guessing yours is T reg. For the same reg standard turbo forecourt price, officially, would be 12,550. They say with specials that you should add about 15% to the standard so that would make it 14,500. Remember that's a dealer price so if he's feeling stingey he might give you two grand less.

Please note the above could be utter b.lox. I'll straight swop you my low mileage MY97. Bargain I'd say.

Two links to a couple of very nice RB5's:-

A standard RB5 at £14,000.00 and an RB5 WR at £13,750.00

Not a jot of interest for either.....so figure what yours is worth from the lack of success others have had.
