Enjoy your scoob - I know you will ! I am, being a first-time scooby owner myself for 8 days now.

I reckon doing 1,000km in the first week says it all - when you think I have only have a 40km (max) round trip to work every day !

LOL

I averaged 4,000 miles a year for the last three years in a 1994 1100cc Fiesta then bought a MY00 Sport. I've now done 3,500 miles in ten weeks

organised my first meet today and now everyone wants me to do another one

As if driving 200 miles was not bad enough, I have to do it three times in order to recky the route

good day had by all though

Bought my first scoob (52 plate WRX) early september and picked it up on the same day as my missus bought an S plate A4 TDi. I had used £180 in juice before she knew how to fill hers. She said today she has used nearly 4 tanks of fuel (60 mile round trip to work), I can recall 7 different optimax stations I have used (0.7 miles to work).

I knew it would drink and I would want to drive her but for gods sake........

0.7 miles to work
much too far to walk

I bet you have to drive 25 miles in the other direction to get to the petrol station though

Kev,

My girlfiend (ex - if any chicks are reading) drove my motor for a week and got 330 to the tank, however I've never had more than 210. But then again she was **** scared of it and no doubt never done more than 2500rpm.

So it is possible..........

The Scooby is replacing a very tuned 200sx which used to do, driving like a granny, 20mpg

Things just got better
