i know this has been done to death but this is just my personal view. Drove down to cheltenham and got the geometry and bump steer done. BLoody hell!!!! what a difference.

Didnt think it would be that dramatic as my geometry set up was pretty good already, but it did! car has so much more grip and feels alot more confident under braking. By far and away the best mod i have done and only 120 quid.

cheers to all the boys at powerstation

ben

Interesting....my car has been slowly getting less 'go-cart' like, I just reckoned it was 'tired' tyres

I'll have to sell something else and get it done

Tell me again (I've forgotten) what does the bump steer mod entail.
Where are powerstation?

this could be a troll but i'll run with it as I have nothing better to do

Mod is to adjust postioning of steering rack i.e lowering it about 5mm.
what this does is to 'dial out' understeer when cornering.

powerstation is in Cheltenham.

a troll = a wind up, as it's been on so many posts before.

we wont go into the complexities or how it is done as i am not really sure. Curtis tried to explain it to me and even the pretty pictures didnt help much!!

all i know is that each car is very different. some cars may need the steering rack lowered and some may need it to be raised in order to "dial out" the understeer. You can't tell untill you have had a play with it. Either way, the boys down there will sort it.

just been out in the wet today aswell, much improved!!

I'd love to see them raise it being as it's bolted to the underside of the engine mount / crossmember. ??
