Just looking at the spec of the STI ppp on prodrives web-site and noticed the spec for the standard WRX ppp seems to have changed.

Im pretty sure you use to get an ecu, uprated intercooling pipework, back box and centre link pipe.

It now says as above but instead of link pipe, uprated down pipe with high performance cat.

Does anybody know if the standard kit has changed and taken some of the sti's innovations with it or is it a typo.

As i am just about to have one fitted by lancasters of 7oaks i would really like to know..

Hi

The STI already has uprated pipework, so no need to change it. As far as I know the WRX PPP has the uprated piping.

Dont know if youve understood, the point i was making was in reference to the exhaust system modifications on the wrx ppp that have seemed to have changed in the last two days on the prodrive website

Talking

Probably a typo. As far as I know the STI PPP is the first time a sports cat has been offered.
I looked on the website, but only saw the same STI PPP details as before, and the WRX one does'nt mention what it contains.

Ok

Here's what I think it comprises of for what car(model year). I looked at the Subaru site which is why I did'nt find it

Uprated engine management system(all of them)

Upgraded intercooler piping (Turbo,WRX but Not STI)

Stainless steel performance exhaust silencers (All)

Uprated down-pipe with high performance cat (STI only)

Does that help. Look at http://www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm for more info on earlier version PPP componants.
