This may sound like a silly question but what purpose does the notch on the passenger side lip spoiler right underneath the passenger side foglight serve? Is it removable? Are there mounting bolts behind it? Why isn't there one on the driver's side? Is it for jacking the car without damaging the lip with the jack's bar?

This is a good pic of it.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the response but this is still puzzling me.

Why is it only on the passenger side? There are tow hooks on both sides non so why not a removable panel for the driver's side as well?

Doing a quick look out into the car park here at work most if not all cars in view only have one towing eye at the front. So I suppose its a case of make the front lip spoiler cheaper by only one cutout with one add-on cover.

Wink

Your'e all wrong..........

The flap covers the in-flight re-fuelling receptacle.

I'm also told that if you remove it, your belly button will fall off!

it's a marketing ploy.

It gets people talking about it and posting pictures so everyone else drools and says I want one!!!
