Im getting sick and tired of some people on this board posting crap and being hyper sensitive all the bloody time. For god sake just leave people alone. If you aint got anything nice to say shut the hell up. PERIOD. Ive been thinking this for a while after reading alot of posts. People really insult one another sometimes. The majority of them wouldnt dream of saying it to them in person so why say it on here. Have some respect. At the end of the day we are all interested in cars/bikes etc so lets try to play nice. If someone wants to post a car versus car thread let them, i would prefer to read those than some of the stuff on here.

Erm yeah I was behind him! Dual carriageway and he got in righgt lane I pulled out behind him as there was a lorry in my lane.

Nice one!

Had a run in with a 6r4 yesterday (my mates) I believe it actually kicks out nearly 450 brakes, has no weight, no interior, no air con, no nothing. Feels like its falling off a cliff under acceleration, handles like a rat on rails and craps ALL OVER my new STi which kicks out about 290Brakes.
BUT you HAVE to smile when your beaten soundly by a metro, no need to get uptight when there is as good or better car on the road with you!

I used to have a metro GTI 16V.I dropped a 1.8K series lump in it and it was pretty rapid.I think 0-60 was quoted in 6.53 seconds and the 1/4 mile was done in a little over 14.5s.In all fairness it was a very fun car to drive allbeit with no street cred.I still have it and will be sad to see it go when the day comes.

Just goes to show you, you can MOD anything and make it rapid! Just like the Skoda Hill climber with a Rover V8 lump in it!!! That used to kick out 500+ BHP

Goes to show you there are people out there on my wavelength.

I think it's about having fun but knowing the limits and when to back off with your right foot. The EVO driver was just as up for it and to be honest this area sees alot of cars in the same league s3's,Cossies,EVO's and RX7's, with most of their drivers being up for a blast.

I think the other people who commented on here are just wannabes and see something like this thread and just long for a perfromance car.

That said about all the fun a woman was killed at the weekend not by a boy racer or street racing but by an Ambulance

Very rarely on the road, but when it is there really are not many cars that can match its pace.... well that is up until about 100 where it stops!! Of course getting there is unreal!
He also has a an original Lancia Stratos its sssooooo beautiful!

Ah well enough longing... back to work and reality....
