Spoke to International Motors today, who told me where I am in the queue - No 60 something.
They are still waiting for a component so none have yet been shipped - he estimated end of October or early November for me. This is however dependant upon dealers returning the ECUs from the early fittings so they can be reprogrammed for the later fittings

Did your dealer commit to which Jan/Feb or are you under the impression it is next year?
Mine was ordered in March and has been arriving "next month" ever since. Btw, not criticising dealers. they are just being told what customers want to here without letting fact get in the way!

What exactly does it involve?
This is the killer, people have known about it for months but the official list of what it actually involves is still rather unknown.
It might be an ECU replacement, some form of improved boost control, and some parts of an exhaust, but we'll only know when it's finally announced officially
Nick.

I don't see how anyone can know where they are on the list when the kit is being supplied and fitted by the dealers (i.e. you're not dealing direct with Prodrive).
Dealers put the order in with IM (AFAIK) so it would follow that IM know what is going on.

Spoke to Prodrive yesterday,
details should be official either this week or next. Was quoted 305bhp and 300ft/lbs....
My thoughts are (apart from the warranty) the Milltek exhaust gives +30bhp, full boost 1k lower etc etc for £795 +vat which makes the other 15 bhp expensive at just over a grand (ppp - £950).
Anybody have any thought on this?

AndyS44,
Thats what I have been chewing over, so I wrote a letter to International Motors (Subaru UK) to ask if the warranty will be effected, I await there reply.
As I have TSL De-cat and Group N Rear Box I only need Miltech Sports Cat @ £495.00, for 30BHP more thats fine with me!

lol
i presumed they meant jan/feb next year, not the year after.
ive had the same thoughts about the milltek exhaust, 301 bhp for 2 grand or 295 bhp for less than half that, if the prodrive ecu turns out to be an exchange item it makes it very expensive for a similar exhaust , superchip and intercooler hose !

Mark,
Litchfields Xhorst looks and does the buisness but if you are on the UK car route then PPP is the only safe and warrenty'd way. IMHO
My dealer said that the ECU is Service Exchange and the old ones to be reprogrammed. If dealers delay returning them it will hold things up. Dealers may be charged £1K for missing delayed lost ECU's. IMHO
