had to go to Gloucester Royal Hospital today...
What a frightening experience,
No no not the hospital visit but the....CAR PARK <shudders>

drove up to barrier, glass shards on floor
looking for a space and found 2 cars with broken windows
started worrying about scoob big time.
found a space anyway, checked seats and floor, nothing in view, took any stuff out of the glovebox and stuffed it into my pockets.
walking toward hospital now and I spy cameras, have a look at which way it's pointing and turn round to see if it's near my car.
The sight made my stomach churn, This bloody great spoiler stuck up above all the other cars and generally the car stuck out like a spare pr1ck at a wedding.<almost sweating now>
had me x-ray and tried to run back to the car but it hurt too much,
anyway turns out car wasn't touched (sorry folks boring end to story )
Jees tho, that's the most nervous I've ever been over a car.
It's staying in the garage from now on

Fuzz,

I'm glad its not just me that act like this, I get so much grief over time I take choosing that perfect parking space! I know that if someone really wants to take it they'll find a way, but so far, I'm sure me being paraniod is why I've never had a car nick - touch wood!.

Yeah but having to freak out like that is almost as bad as having a window put in, emphasis on almost.

Unhappy

This is one of the only pitfalls of scoob ownership -- the WORRY when you have to leave her to the mercy of a public car park, street etc.
