All I can say is OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! What a car!
As some of you will know, I was considering purchasing a MY95 WRX. After today, I have to have it, I have never driven something that can be so brutal on acceleration!
The car is in good order and has a service history, CAT1 alarm and Imob, all the toys including air con.
Anyone want to buy a 93 BMW 320i Saloon (E36)? If so, mail me for details!
Cheers
Paul

I know what you mean mate, I remember my first test drive in my 93WRX, the bloke from the garage drove me about first. I had to ask him what gear he was in, I thought it was 3rd by the amount of force pushing me into my seat, actually it was 5th!
Awesome.

Welcome to the club :-) I have had my 97 WRX (5dr) about 3 weeks and never have I spent so much money on running a car but had so much enjoyment out of it Roads I used to tootle up in 2nd in my old car (Megane) are nothing in 5th in the WRX, its as though the Derbyshire hills have been ironed flat.
Now armed with copies of Demon Tweeks' catalogue, Max Power and Larkspeed catalogues its time to start saving for some mods...

The first time i went in a scoob it was a 94 wrx, the guy floored it in second and i nearly ended up in the boot!!!
I had to admit it felt one hell of a fast car!
But ended up with my UK MY00 turbo... oh its quick but not as brutal as a wrx, especially with the PPP fitted as even the odd wrx driver has found out
The fact is that you still look down at that needle (as i did today against one of those honda s2000's) and see that im doing 120 in 4th and pulling very strongly towards the red line then going to 5th and still pulling strongly!
Ahhhhhh the joys of owning an impreza
