Unhappy

Yes, noticed some small splashes of white gloss paint on the lower parts of all 4 doors, and also along the black skirts and inside the wheel arches...........

....the result of a painter/decorator's van in front of me spilling his load earlier in the week..... didn't think anything of it until I washed the car this weekend, so didn't get his number.

I just drove over the trail he left in the road as I overtook him, I (and about 30 other cars) had no other choice...

Anyone any ideas that won't wreck the paint or plastic please?

I would start by speaking to the Wax Wizard and seeking his advice. He will probably be able to suggest a safe method or he will make one of his special cleaning fluids and send it to you!

As usual, I have no association whatsoever with the Wax Wizard. I am a satisfied customer - after using the clay-bar he supplied on my car it did wonders removing all sorts of cr*p from the paintwork! Definitely give him a ring.

Hope this helps...

White spirit...cannot hurt your paintwork or your plastics, you will have to soak it a bit and NOT use too much elbow grease or it will scratch.

I would spend time on one panel at a time then make sure to re-polish it as the spirit will 'degrease' including polish.

Hope that helps.
