Just brought my new STI home!!!
#4
I'VE DONE IT!! After several weeks of searching (and a little trauma) I've now got my very own Scooby
It's a gorgeous DBM 1998 STI 5 door...and does it shift!!!!!!!.
Its taken an 8 hour drive (there and back to Uckfield, Sussex in pouring rain) on Saturday for a ten minute test drive (also in pouring rain!!
A trip to Scoobysport this morning for the owner because I insisted on getting it checked over properly (thanks Trouser for the suggestion!) All was declared well!!
And what was meant to be a quick two hour trip this evening to pick it up from Northampton, turned into three and a half trip due to spending 1 1/2 hours almost at standstill on M1
Was it worth it?? Absolutely - I love it!!
Though didn't actually get to drive it home as I had to let Mikee do that for coming with me to fetch it :P I got stuck with my boring old M3!
Well just felt like sharing my excitement before I went to bed
