Time to renew (currently with RAC). But has anyone got any top tips on where and how to get the best price out of these companies?

From previous experience, they seem to have special prices available (but only if you know how to ask for them).

thanks, Mark.

Britannia Rescue is the cheapest & the best by both my own experience & some independant survey in some mag a while back.
They use local garages rather than there own dedicated vans etc.........therefore there response time is excellent(e.g. Middle of nowhere in Wales with bust radiator response time 20 minutes and trailered me all the way home ........needless to say it was in the days before the Scoob,Damn Fords.)

Again, Britannia Rescue are the ones to choose ..... as a CSMA member (£15/yr) it costs me around £30 for a car

Two recommendations for the same company must be a good sign.

I'll lok for their number at lunchtime (well I suppose I should do some work this morning).

regards, Mark.

I'd recommend Britania too. Only had to use them once, but only had to wait 1/2 hour to be relayed home, no question of sending an engineer for assesment first. Oh and they are cheap too, cost me about £60 for me and the wife in any car/motorbike.
