Cool

Hi all, had a run in a P1 today, i was very impressed. it was about 5 miles on quite a bumpy road. the car had 18 inh wheel conversion and prodrive brake upgrade. it just seemed to soak up the bumps and stayed flat on the road. does any one have leda on there scoobs and can it make the uk turbo ride like this. it never got out of shape, the power delivery was great too, it surged right up to the redline. there probably is quicker scoobs on this planet but i aint been any to compare. P1 would do me lovely thanks. cheers Lee

Wake up and smell the coffee

Compare other £30,000 cars and you will see thats its far from being in that league - great car it is though - take my advice and give BMW a knock, the value will not plummet like a stone as the P1 will.

Just my pennies worth

Well like i said in my post i aint bin in any to compare it with! just thought it rode well. and as for BMW and smelling coffee, values drop like bloody rocks! my brother has had two, one M3 3.0 and a M3 evo 3.2. M3 evo example- paid 30,000 for one year old, 10000 miles and 12 months later couldnt pull anymore than 19500, sold it to a dealer for 19000. thats 11000 in 12 months! dont now if
your in the car trade but one paticulary bad month in the black cap price guide it dropped 4000 in one month. glad im not withstanding that. silky motor and refined but personelly think there bit overrated and ive driven a hell of lot of em hence next door neighbour works fr em. flame suit on!

Question

Smalfin isnt a P1 basically a 2 doorr Sti with a few bits removed like active centre diff and water spray? im talking about the ride, arent the set ups differnt on imports as the road surface is diffrent over there? may be completey wrong, but ithought prodrive had better set up for this country?
