Just noticed the front cover of EVO mag.
Only had enough dosh for my lunch so couldnt buy it.
How did the WRX go versus the Mini? One of my colleagues is going to buy a Cooper so interested.

From what I remember
WRX faster and more capable.
Mini Cooper, more fun for less money
Clio Cup Even more (if less safe) fun for even less money
Focus RS unruly and scary unless you're on a race track

Ordered a Clio Cup (as a runabout alongside P1) delivery in couple of weeks. Amazed at how raw and quick it felt on test drive - most fun 
. Straight line speed was v impressive. Mini is more controlled than clio but boring by comparison.
IMHO WRX is more capable car than either - hence it costs alot more new.
