Hi NINJA,

I don't have a P1, but I do have the tyres you are talking about on my UK turbo. It's also sitting 30mm lower than standard with no clearence probs. If they can go on my car, should they not be OK for a P1?

According to Prodrive no other tyre than a PZero will fit a 18" P1 alloy without rubbing problems due to the way tread rolls over on the edges. Dont know about other 18" alloys and tyres though

The Pirelli Pzero Asym in 225/35/18.....have quality problems at this moment.

The can crack on the innner-side-wall,...just before the pattern begins !

Mike@Prodrive and Pete@Scoobysport and a lot more P1 drivers can tell you what's wrong with them !

I'll tell you a funny unrelated thing about Pirelli P-Zero Asym, they're wider than the Michelin SX-GTs I took off despite being exactly the same size, 195/45/16. They're also physically taller - 45% of Pirellis definition of 195 being also bigger.

Also do the quality problems affect sizes other than the 18" Theo mentions?

As far as i'm aware the cracking problem occurs only on the 18" PZero. For the record all four tyres on my P1 are cracking which the supplying dealer is going to replace under warranty (only 3,000 miles ! ) as soon as the new batch of PZero's comes into the country, hopefully end of August
