Full photo spread in AutoExpress today. Looks like real promo shots and not Photoshopped. Front, back, sides, Sti, WRX and 5 door.

Front looks a little Impreza like. Lights are both pointy and round :-)

Also Sti has big wing as standard ?

Text mentions uprated chassis and suspension but not sure I believe them on that.

Hmmmmm.
If it's in Auto Express, it won't be "anywhere near as good as the equivalent Ford", which will leave it "eating the Ford's dust".
IMHO of course.:
Auto Express should be renamed "FordsRUs".

Yep, official pics but technical details seem a little hazy. "Improved aerodynamics (ie big wing) a more efficient turbo and uprated suspension... it's thought the UK engine spec is largely unchanged."

My guess is that Auto Express broke an embargo to get the story this week, as the car is not officially unveiled until tomorrow. Today's (Weds) Autocar leads with old spy shots and very sketchy details, and much the same on the new Evo 8.

I think the new nose looks much better, but it's still a lardy great barge compared to the old classic shape. STi is still 36 stone heavier than the old car

Cheers,

Richard.

Just had a quick look in the Newsagents... not impressed... what have they done to the nose? And those stupid "sycamore" lights. Guess they have to be different but if those pictures are anything to go by then IMHO it's little better than the bug-eyed monster. I much preferred the photoshop blue car from a few weeks ago!
