Got a P1 last week and noticed that the plastic part on the key (the black bit) is a lot smaller than the one on the key for my MY00 turbo.
Does the P1 key not have the little transponder thingy in it? Judging by the size of the key I don't reckon there's room for a chip or whatever inside it...

If that's the case can I get one of those carlos-fandango STi keys cut and use that??

The key does nothing else
