I don,t know if anyone has any ideas , but in the last few days my car MY95 UK turbo has started misbehaving . Under "normal" driving conditions i.e around town and gentle (under 4k RPM ) it is fine , but as soon as you start to open it up when the turbo cuts in , it starts to splutter , almost like a misfire , there is no pattern to this , sometimes it happens at 4500 RPM sometimes at 5500 RPM . It has been to the dealer and plugged in to the diagnostic , which came up clear , the ECU has been reset , I have also tried different grades and brands of fuel , and cleaned the injectors , but it still keeps doing it and its getting on my nerves , especially as I am having to use the Wifes aging Celica for my 40 mile round b-road trip to work .
Anyone experienced similar or have any ideas on what to do ?

Thanks in advance

Get your air filter checked and maybe the airflow meter.
