Hi all
Can anyone tell were I can get some of this oil or something similar i.e. motul 300v 15w/50. Im desperate and need it quickly also do I need to use a proper Subaru filter.

The Subaru filter is the one you need. Top choice of oil you are after for the scoob. Can't answer on where you can get it from, as I'm in Greece.

Look in Yellow Pages under Car Accessory Dealers. Someone will have it - there are a couple of shops in my area selling Castrol 10-60.
Alternatively Mobil Motorsport 15-50 is good stuff, from Halfords.

I got my Silkolene Turbo GTI 15w/50 from Revolution in Newcastle and they also stock Oil Filters. 0191 4770785
The Filter I got was a "Blue Print" type, just as good and half the price of a subaru oil filter.
The Oil comes in 4 ltr & 1 ltr packs, so you'll need one of each as you need around 4.7ltrs (4.2ltrs + 0.4ltrs allowance for filter).
Done mine the other week and it took no time, you may also want to get a fresh Sump Washer whilst your at it.
