Anyone like Lexus style rear lights ?

I heared they are putting them on the MY03. Not sure if this is true but I always thought they make the the Lexus look very cheap - otherwise it is a fine motor.

seen them on an Sti the other day, sorry just made the back end look so cheap and tacky, the lamps did not look good value for money, the light fittings were even cheaper, the lamps rattled ,even when fitted in, as they dont use all the gen fitting points, and with those silly bulbs with silver tops, that no shop sells, other than the shops that sell the lamps, so expect another rip off price for replacement bulbs. I think if they do become a standard fitment on 03my's, they will use normal bulbs and have proper sheilds to cover the bulb tips, Think lexus lights should stay with lexus, otherwise, why buy a scooby?

my01, I think they look very good even on the darker colours as I originally thought it would only suit the silver colour. Don't think I'll be getting any for our my00 though.

Put The TSL lexus style rear's on my MY02, They look pretty (I mean really) cool to me......... but there again I wrapped a tartan scarf around my wrist and sang "shang a lang" along with the Bay City Rollers a good few many years ago.
I have kept the old ones and the bulbs in the garage in case fashions change.!!
I just wonder what other car fashions have come (and gone). I put two thin sripes down the side of my white escort MYN 975L (1972/3) and thought I was God!!
OK so whats yours??

I've put them on my car and they look great much better than the standard ones but then again it all depends on what kind of taste you have, whether you like your scooby to look simple (which looks good which is why I bought one) or to stand out and be different (which seems like the way I'm going)

I blagged a poster from local Ford garage for the Capri Mk II I remember the slogan at the top of the poster "The Once in a Lifeteime Car". Sadly beaten into second place by Debbie Harry.
Was your Capri orange....the best colour for black slatted rear window.
Seriously though, It's nice that Scooby's can be modded and the price does not go down!!!
Cheers

I like them on mine as well but I know it is a change that some people don't like.
Everyone is different in their choices and tastes.
The "black chrome" ones are a less in your face than the clear untinted lights and certainly suit the darker colours.
To set somethings straight, the lights use the standard Subaru wiring. When fitted mine have never rattled or leaked. The indicator bulb is silver but shines a deep orange and appear brighter than the original. Also you can buy these bulbs from several sources including TSL and power bulbs.

Trouser,
Some people know about part of the phase!
Hope fully the clicking will stop after the visit as well, oh and the rattling clutch pedal!
Shed?

What I'd like to se is some skyline R34 rear lights on the scooby. They are one of my favourite details of the skyline. And I think thats where Subaru should be looking for the facelift. Not Lexus. Just my opinion tho
