Does anyone know whether the strips across the top of the windscreen (and the rear screen) are the same on an STi Type R version 5 as a UK car (MY99)?

I'm having a roof respray and these apparently have to be replaced. They clip on I believe so are the clips separate or built into the strip?

I would imagine that the top mouldings are identical - I can't see any reason why they should be different - even if UK ones are - so what, it will still fit the hole and shape of the bodyshell!!

These always have to come off when you have to change to windscreen, and the clips always invariably break, but the good news is that yes, you can get the clips seperately.

If you buy new mouldings, they come with the clips already fitted and its a bang on job to refit.
