STi7 RPM wire any idea's for Sat Nav,
#1
I have posted this in electrical but after the colour quite urgent as I'm fitting sat nav system today.
Any1 have any idea where I can find the RP wire and what colour it is on a STI7.
IS there one allready in the radio harnes plug? as some cars do that.
If not anyone know what colour it is and where I can find it.
Cheers,
DAve.

This may help, can't guarantee it's the same but would be very surprised if not.
MY02 ECU pinouts got to "Technical Docs", then "Wiring Guides" then down to "MY2002".

Dave,
the above webpage is the one I used to wire in my Panasonic Navi unit in my STI UK.
Any questions you need about fitting just let me know.
Regards,
Rob.

hm read this lot 1 late.
I have used the green/white on the plug behind and connected to the dash clocks.
Trouble is on discconnecting them and reconnecting them the engine management light stays on.
Does this need a factory reset from Subaru??

Dave,
This is how I connected my speed pulse on my old RB5 and didn't get any error lights.
I don't think it's bad, as you say may need a reset but get it checked out.
