No I didn't. I did it by accident. Replied without thinking - thought that someone would help me turn it off.

The hook line and sinker was referring to myself being an idiot...too many beers at lunchtime

The actual solution is to change your scoobynet e-mail address to one you hardly ever use, until the problem goes away
If necessary you can filter on notifications@scoobynet.co.uk
Of course, when you think the problem's disappeared (some months later) one of the muppets may drag the thread up again
