Any tips for warrantly claims on EU imports?

Have got a really rattly seatbelt unit - driving me nuts. Local dealer said yesterday that IM unlikly to assist as its not defective. I said do they make them with rattles then? She said no, I see your point but they are unlikly to replace it under warranty for a rattle.

Told her to log the fault with IM - and shes going to "let me know".

If I dont get a positive response what are the next steps? Anyone been here before?

I've some experience with EU warranty issues but this sounds more like a dealer issue - suggest you try another more sympathetic dealer.
