How close is this to the actual Subaru Gold wheel colour.

Visited my local Automotive Paint supplier, who have it listed, and also have a swatch which looks O.K

But it is listed as a Subaru Car colour for 1977 - 1979 and not a Wheel colour.

I don't currently have Gold Alloys so can't tell how good a match it would be.

Go to a volvo dealer, that nice colour they have is what your after (has a friend with a c70 coupe )
they should have a paint number for you.

If Saffron Gold 58 is not the correct code for scooby wheels, does anyone know what the correct code is then?

I'm not saying that Saffron '58' is the wrong code, it just not listed as a wheel colour (they probably don't list wheel colours anyway).

I know that some people on the BBS have used it and was wondering how good a match it is.

If you have gold alloys then go to your local Automotive Paint supplier and have a look at there colour swatch, to see if it matches.

My wheels are currently Silver so I have nothing to match too, so am unsure how close it is.
