So at last a P1 at the price it should have been when launched!

£25,297 for the P1. Plus VAT this is £29,724. Not exactly a bargain, you should be able to get one of the remaining ones from a dealer for that

Nice one Mark, with no serious interest hadn't spotted the VAT issue.

As well as being £29,000 the P1 must be a 2nd hand car MY00.

Guys,

On the face of it, it seems like a good deal, but you should be aware of the following.

1. These are not UK spec cars (All UK cars are now sold. & have been for a while now!)

2. Breakdown/Recovery cover is an optional extra on these. (3 yrs free in the UK)

3. They only come with the Manufactures Warranty. (1yr) UK cars come with a 3yr Warranty (Paid for by I.M.)

4. You could find that the Dealers/I.M. are not as helpful as they could be in sorting out any problems that may occur during your ownership, as they are classed as "Imports"

5. And finally, (This is the bit that hurts!) Although they may be a couple of grand cheaper to buy. Watch those residual values drop through the floor when it comes to selling/trading your pride and joy. As no-one will pay the true UK market value for a car that was never meant for our market. (Especially Dealers!)

As has already been said "Buyer beware"

Red face

DarrenKelly293- I've spoken to this company today (and via a couple of previous threads on this subject) and they confirmed that the UK300 IS NOT available from them at any price. If they've told you they can supply I would try to place an order and see how far they get before realising....
Don't know about the P1 though.
Gareth.
