Drive both, but I'd go for the Sti3 every time. I think autotrader did a back to back test on them and the sti. Evos weigh a lot more which dents their performance

My Japanese translation of the Sti website suggest Torque went up from 343 to 353 nm - not a great deal but they also revised the Cam profile.
Interior - The newer interior imho is far better - better positioning of switches and more storage. Also has the newer Momo wheel.
Small things but a better buy in my book. Which after looking at both I did...

I prefer the 4 interior also. Cam profile was less agressive in 4 apparanetly. Have no idea what this means in real terms.
For visual drama, and low down torque I would still go for an evo 4 over a scoob.
Infact i would personally choose a 5 or a 6 over any scoob barring the 22B.

Thanks for views , I am going to try STI 3 RA , I reckon this is going to feel a lot quicker than my current 240 MY 94 WRX. The garage also have an EVO 4 so I wait and see.
From what I heard EVO 4 is a quicker car than STi 3

I am the pround owner of an Sti3v-ltd and it is one hell of a car.It has the best Impreza engine,closed block,apparently and if the interior is less plush than the Sti4 it is no less functional.
As for power,on the way to Trax last year an Evo5 couldn't shake me off and after talking to the owner he was working the car really hard.
At the end of the day the choice is your's but I am very happy with mine.
