ianfergus0n what colour is your car? I can`t quite work out what mine is as the paper work is all in Jap. I was told buy the seller, but was to distracted to listen properly.
I can`t tell from your pic but mine appears to be dark blue with a hint of purple or red in it. Is this Reddish blue that I see written about. Sorry if I sound a bit of a numpty

Mark thats DBM, dark blue mica or deep blue mica. The colour code is on the VIN plate underneath the bonnet passenger side suspension top. 3 digit code eg mine is sonic blue 74F, I think dark blue mica is 96H ??? they are all 3 digit AFAIK.

No idea mate maybe a strip of that protective film stuff if you can get just get a strip. The only reason I know is that I had one on my red scoob and it left a line after two years.
I was going to mention it to you last night but forgot.
