Er,
have you tried your local Subaru dealer??
I bought a very nice liner for my MY00 4-door for GBP35. Not only does it protect the carpet, but stuff doesn't fly around quite as much (and thus get under the carpet into the tar).

The subaru std is very good and it fits. Keeps all the dirt in the tray, where it is supposed to be!!!
If you have a dog then the scratch plate to go over the rear bumper is a worthwhile investment too.

I've just sold my old MY97 5 door and most of the bits I took off.
I had the solid Subaru boot liner which was o.k but didn't protect the sides of the boot as it was only 3 inches tall. I've still got the Hatchbag that is flexible and waterproof and covers the whole of the boot. This fastens to the sides by Velcro. With two large dogs, this was the most useful.
It's still for sale if you're interested - e-mail me.
Cheers
Steve.
