Have been thinking about upgrading to 18's.
Do they make a worthwhile difference to handling?
Also how much am I looking at for tyres?

Whilst on the subject of upgrading, I'd also like opinions on the prodrive backbox and the brembo upgrade.

Many Thanks

Question

Who supplies the Prodrive backbox? Is it from a main dealer or Prodrive themself?
Any idea of the cost?
I've heard they are slightly quiter than the ss backbox.

P1 WR backbox is ~ 350 quid available from your dealer. I`ve just had to wait two months for one even though it was ordered with the car !

I have a P1 standard backbox for `disposal` -see my post in Private.

Any perfomance increase with the prodrive bb?
Is it bigger than the STI one you get standard?

Cool

Have the 18", better in dry. worse in the wet for hadling. I prefer the ride iwth the 18"s. Tyres are approx £185-£200 each on the 18"s.

I had the back box but upgraded to a SS full. It was good, now it is better
