Question

Is it me, or does anyone else think that the "Search Scoobynet" link should be bigger? It seems that a lot of newbies don't notice it.

Don't give me that newbie malarchy

I DID use the search, but it's only any good if you can remember the thread name exactly.

You do a search on CK1 or FMIC or front mounted intercooler or stef in General or Members gallery or drivetrain.

Don't take long does it

Alternativley after spending 15 mins using the search facility and getting loads of irrelevent threads pop up, i decided to ask for help!

SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENIENCE

Incedentaly, thanks evil for answering the post in the first pace

I'm actually after a picture of the front of CK1 to look at sticky pete's handywork. The pictures on the link that evil found for me have expired.

(Dare I ask this!) Does anyone know the name of the thread where CK1's scoop is mounted backwards (TAKES COVER) (Yes I have looked and entering things like CK1, Scoop, backwards etc don't work)

Grid, don't take the comments the wrong way ... I doubt they were meant to be insulting ...

I did a search for word1 = FMIC and word2 = Stef and switched off "Search titles only".

I found 20 threads in about 20 seconds, and the 10th title in the list was the correct one.

Best thing to do with the search is put one word in each section (word1=xxx, word2=yyy, word3=zzz) and it will come up with a sensible list. If I add word3=CK1, it only comes up with 10 threads for example.

We all would want a "do what I mean, don't do what I say" interface, but alas we are still a very long way from it...

HTH,

Theo
