I know the whole site is dedicated to Imprezas whatever type, but now the new car is becoming more popular there are a lot more questions being asked. Opinions.

personal opinion!
I think the MY01 looks good, well once you get rid of the Bug eyes and sort the spoiler out. Looks more upto date than previous models.
I am slightly biased though!!!!

Thought that may be the case but seeing as i've been pondering the question for a while thought i would ask, dont' want to start a "them and us" so scrap the idea.

It doesnt matter what impreza you have, new or old, STI or uk, we are all owners and thats what counts, making splinter groups will just destroy what we have built here, do you think that the RSOC have a sapphire v escort cossie forum?? no, and why? cos they are all cossie owners!

Ive tried to get sensible posts answered about the MY01 and every other thread is a "hate it"/"will never own one"/"slow" type of crap from the mkI'ers. I for one am fed up with this kind of sh1te!!!
So a seperate forum would be great for "Us" lepers.
Save time sifting through the rubbish. Im all for a bit of segregation!!! Fight the Power !!!

On the more serious side... I think it's not a good idea. There is no seperate forum for P1's, STi's, WRX's, 22B's, McRae's, Cataluna's, RB5's, Stars25's, (when you think about it... the Impreza has more special versions than you can shake a stick at).
Do you want a separate Drivetrain forum for them ? Member gallery ? Suspension ? Events ? Brakes ? Headlight conversions ?
Doesn't really make sense.
The MY01 is still an Impreza...
Maybe it's a better idea to stop the "tension" between the different sides ?

There is a growing number of sensible debates over the MY01 and they will get better as more people buy em.
