In Davey P's 22B or P1 a few people dragged the STI's into it.
So coming right up to date, STI7 or TypeUK? I haven't driven either but would like to know what people think...

I've not driven a P1 or a 22B so I can't comment on them. I've got an STi Type UK though and have had a PPP'd old shape and an Evo6 in the past.
The STi is a magnificent car. There are a few minor quibbles, but no question it holds brilliantly, goes like hell when given some revs and is generally great fun to drive.
It reminds me a lot of when I first got a standard UK turbo many years back. You drive it and you smile. But you also can't help but think it could cope with even more power...
