Police are hunting for a gang !

The incedent occurred just before 4am on Wed 21st when the front door of a property was smashed in and the keys to the Subaru Impreza were taken. The householder was threatened by one of the gang,it was thought two or three other people were involved.
The reg number of the silver car is V113 EEL anyone who witnessed the theft or knows anything about it is asked to contact D.c Dixey on 01202 855544.

This is on the front page of my local paper

It's happening everywhere. Here in sunny Nottingham they use guns with increasing frequency. Here, the police take on average 45 minutes to respond to armed incidents (if at all) and I kid you not. If your lucky, you get an armed response vehicle, but more often its a standard panda! The shops near me have panic buttons which quickens response to 30 minutes (and that's after a shot was fired!). Do the smart thing & get a tracker fitted - mind you, the cops ignore those too!

IMPORTANT ADVICE: if your alarm goes off, leave it going. Do NOT rush out with the keys to turn it off even if it looks clear. The crims will be lying in wait to pounce on you. In my case there was only one, however, another appeared from nowhere with a gun after his pal was under threat!
