Import Service-Basingstoke area?
#1
I'm looking to get my 99 WRX serviced soon(7500m), my wife has the car!!!! and works in Basingstoke area. Any specialists?
p.s. A lot of people seem to ask where to find import specialists, maybe someone could make a list/database? I'd love to but unfortunately i'm out of the country for four months (Penguin spotting)

Park Lane are probably nearer but I know nothing about them. Cheriton garage was another name I heard about in that area. Personnaly I probably won't go back to Hughes againm, I had a 6k service (£130ish) done and they couldn't have been less enthusiastic about anything. I had just got the car and had plenty of questions, they weren't interested in talking at all. Shame as they are 2 miles from my house. Maybe it's just me...

Hi Harry
We would be delighted to service your car for you. Just up the road in Maidenhead.
Kind regards
Ben
Basingstoke boy!

I would vouch for Park Lane being OK -can do basic service but are still learning about the cars. Enthusiastic tho'.
I would also give a vote for Scoobymania's Mark - he'll probably get a share of my service business in the future. Knows cars very well - getting to grips with Scoobies (drives an Evo tho' pah!)
SGT in Maidenhead will also allegedly sort out your import servicing - although, again allegedly they underfilled a BBS members car with oil last time he went there.
Cheers,
David

Cheriton Garage is actually called Crossroads Garage and have moved from Cheriton to an industrial estate in Petersfield. I haven't used them but they were a franchised Subaru dealer for many years before getting involved with imports, so they should be OK.
Hope this helps....
