Theft of Alloy Valve Caps
#1
While on Holiday in North Wales last week, I visited the sea side town of Barmouth. We parked the car in the pay & display car park on the sea front and went for a walk. When I returned to the car while walking across the car park we noticed two heads duck down beside the scooby, quickly increased walking pace and caught two little thieving to$$ers about to steel the alloy valve caps of my UK300. They tried to say they were admiring the wheels but after I checked their hands they had a hadfull of alloy valve cap covers which they offered to me as a gift for the scooby. Luckly for their own safety they weren't mine, caught them just in time, it looked like they took them off a Polo Gti which was parked next to me, we made they put them back and drove off.
Any one visting this place be alert.
I remember some time ago about some locking valve caps, does anyone no where one could get hold of these to stop thieving hands.

Mine kept getting nicked on my front drive of my house. I then bought some locking valve caps from scoobyparts and to this day there still on my car. They look nice too with the Subaru logo.

Had mine nicked in Wales too - is it because they are at the value of most of the houses?? Just joking, I love Wales!! I might just buy it one day!!

I had a problem with the caps getting nicked not long back whilst the car was parked out front of the house, lost 4 sets in as many weeks, so I got up early one morning and waited thinking it was probably kids. Watched the milkman arrive, drop off milk, drive a bit further down the road and park up, he then walked backed to the car and proceeded to take the caps. Should of seen the look on his face when I asked what the F**k he was doing
Needless to say that he didn't get payed that week and hasn't delivered to our house since and the valve caps stopped going missing.
Mark.

Had 2 disappear off my MY01 on monday while the car was sat on the drive. It is,as you say, kids nickin em for their f-ing bikes!!! If only I was around to catch the little b@stards!!!!
Mine had the STi logos on too and have just received another set I ordered from Revolution up in the northeast. (These new ones have a 1 or 2mm allen key to secure em!)
What is the world comin to when you can't even park your car on your own drive without **** like this happening???? (Not that bothered about the cost,it coulda been worse. It's the principal though!!!!)
