10k Boost
#1
Anyone tried this stuff "10k Boost" internal Engine Decoker.
10k Boost is dispensed as a fine spray in to the air-intake system whilst the engine is running, the air flow carries this product through the air-inlet, in to the combustion chamber, out of the open exhaust valve, out of the exhaust itself decoking every surface it touches and allowing the engine to perform better.

I wouldn't want to run anything like that on my WRX. the airflow sensor is known to be a bit vulnerable, and i dont like the risk of putting it through the intercooler (which is only sposed to have air in it).
Your engine won't be unduly coked up anyway. ECU's manage mixture properly, and you wont get the cokeing.
And the best way to decoke is not with chemicals but by a 90 Mph low boost cruise down the motorway... getting the engine as hot as poss. and burning carbon deposits off.

I don't own a scooby but I did use 10k boost on a standard cosworth.
It was rolling roaded at 227bhp, then 2 cans of 10k boost were used as per instructions. Nothing else was touched or tuned because 227 for a standard car is spot on.
The next reading was 232.
That was 5bhp for £25 and hopefully a cleaner engine. As scoobs need all the help they can get, buy some
The engine has run very well since and this was a year ago.
Make your own mind up but these are the facts from my own experience.
Hope it helps,
