Although I feel sorry for Rich Wild and his family for the loss of Nick, how long will these images be present on Scoobynet.
As mentioned in my response to Rich's post on the subject. My family lost a much loved mother and grandmother (to my son) only 6 weeks ago, due to an un-expected Brain Heommorage (age 51)
Scoobynet was my way of escaping the heartache and guilt I was feeling and an attempt to move on with life.
However, now everytime I visit Scoobynet I a reminded of what a cruel world we live in...
Why Oh Why does it only ever happen to the nice people in this world......

In answer to your final question...
Because they are usually too good for this world.
Scoobynetters... lets not forget, but please let us move on. Let 'time' do the healing.

Good question
I think that the front page was in place just for the funeral. The donor card one is probably there for good a it's a pointent reminder that we really ought to carry donor cards with us and of the prospective good we can do, even after we die.

Fully endorse that Neil. Thats the second time now, this really must stop
My Mother in Law died when she was 48, after a long drawn out battle with cancer, her wish to benifit others by donating her organs was foiled. Years later when I see publicity for donor cards I remember her words "well maybe you can give my body to a laboratory for research" and still get a lump in my throat.
The world will initially be full of painful reminders Scott. A trailer for a soap or movie, a dress in her chosen colour, a bunch of her favourite flowers. It's inevitable, but slowly the pain fades and happy memories are stimulated.
I'm sure distraught parents watch the speed kills ads but tolerate the anguish in the hope that one less child maybe injured. The same really applies to that banner.
