Hi Everyone,
You may recall the topic which I posted up about the stolen impreza which was driven at high speed through Leigh, than set on fire on somebody's drive.
The story was published on the front cover of 'The Leigh Journal'.
They put a picture of the new shape Impreza WRX in Silver on the front cover. The Subaru Impreza which was stolen, was an N-Reg, in Green.
I e-mailed them about this, and this is their reply:

Sorry Elliot,
The Subaru photograph used in last week's edition was intended solely as a 'performance car' illustration. We will assist if we can. Could you send registration number details and do you have a picture of the actual vehicle?

When I first e-mailed them, I enclosed a picture of the old shape impreza in white.
What should I do?

Typical journalistic licence. My advice - probably best to forget it. They won't help or print an apology, unless you know the editor personally.....
