Jods,
Unlucky.
By the way, any idea where you got that drive way material ? Looks like just the thing for the patio out back in our garden
Cheers

Did exactly the same damage to mine (bloody crap P1 brakes!), and it cost 5.5 K to get fixed. Think yourself lucky (not that I paid for it of course). Front ends on a P1 cost a bomb.

Chris - Glad to hear that yours got sorted - I guess your bags popped also ? Quote so far 5300 but the new garage reckon there are a few bits missing of the list !
I't a shed load of money on a low speed impact. I think the bags going off at 15-20 causes more damage than it protects.
Can the trigger speed / point be amended to something a bit more useful ?? 30 - 40 ??

Jods, no the bags didn't go off. Don't know what the speed was, but I was accelerating hard in the cold (better IC performance), saw the prob about 500 yards away and braked. Probably only hit him at about 20mph. But then again the P1 has a alum bonnet (expensive). Whatever, but the bummper, front lip spoiler (£500!!), raidiator, AC unit etc was replaced for 5.5 K.
555, Same again, some bugger in a transit hit me. Rear bumper with a slight warp. Took it to garage to find that the exhaust had been bent. £1300 for parts!!!. On his insurance luckily.
