As reported by the YEP and briefly mentioned by David Wallis.
A sole woman driver in her 30's was blocked at a junction in Bramhope at 10.30pm on Tuesday. The other car was old and dark in colour and contained 3 blacks. In an attempt to get away she reversed back down the road away from the junction, they followed her and she managed to drive into a small ditch. They made her get out of her blue Subaru Impreza and made off.

These people need rounding up, placed in a field, and f*ing shot.
I hope the lady was ok.
I'm starting to get a bit twitchy, I had a car following me back from work two blokes, infact instead of turing into where I lived, it was a dash up to the bypass, and back down again, never saw em' again :-)... I reckon I'll change my route home.. starting to get a tad worried about all these hijackings..

It's been worrying recently hasn't it, with all the posts up here.
My Dad always used to say "Don't sh*t on your own doorstep". That could have any number of meanings but taking a different way home and "losing" anyone following you before you pull into your road is something I have always done. Also, if you use a car park regularly, never park in the same place twice. To reiterate what a number of other users have suggested in recent days, ALWAYS keep a good distance from the car in front at traffice lights, just in case.
Oh, and paintball guns in the car!!

Should have shoved it further into the ditch! The scum wouldn't have got the car then !!
Now the fourth element in my anti hijack plan
