To all the lads who made us so welcome last night.
I went as a tribute to Nick Wild, not knowing anyone there, we were apprehensive about going as we wouldn't know who from Scoobynet or who wasn't. When we did realise who were, we were made very welcome. "We" being me and my partner Sue ( who is not really that interested in cars and expected the coversation to be cars all night) but I hasten to add, the lads and there prtners or wives didn't talk all night about cars, which Sue was pleasantly pleased about.
Instead we had a fun night (under the circumstances of the meet).
I am just very sorry that I didn't have the nerve to talk to Rich Wild, as words would have failed me over his and his Families very sad loss.
All being well, I hope to get time off work to attend the funeral and pass on my condolences there.
Mellow, your karaoke skills need to be touched up a bit (only joking Chris) your a braver man than me getting up to sing.
Paul the dark horse, good rendition of Mustang Sally.
Maybe I will see you at Elvington on Sunday for a chat.
Rich Wild, I will see you again to chat to, thats a promise ( I was the BIG GUY in the blue shirt at the bar). My deepest sympathies to you all.

Thanks for coming Steve,
It took me a while to realise there were other scoobynetters in the bar.
Hope you can make the funeral, feel free to come and have a chat if you do.
Cheers
Rich

And a fab time was had by all, especially me. On the way home at 1:00 am I filled up with my SECOND EVER half tank of Optimax, and was given 5 packs of trumps...but no M12 or 355 I afraid although I now have the other 14.
Anyway, just as info the scoob seems to be running sweeter and better than it ever has before - EVEN THE WIFE NOTICED the next morning !!!!!!!!!!
So I'll be sticking with it, and its all thanks to you guys
Chelle it was great to meet you, Mellow, Rich, Bob, John, Tony and all the others, and Im Mr Happy that I did it. Will make Sunday all the better
