This Sunday, meet at the Tynant Inn, 8th Oct.
#1
The meet will take place on the 8th October at the 'Tynant' Pub/Inn.
Directions are as follows:
Turn off the M4 at Junction 32, and take the turn off for Merthyr Tydfil(A470)+Tongwynlais (A4054). Once travelling on the A470 take the turn off for Castell Coch (local monument) and Morganstown and Radyr (B4262). As soon as you take this turn off the slip road leads to a roundabout, take the 1st left towards Radyr which then leads to another roundabout, again take the 1st left towards Radyr (B4262). Follow the road through and you'll pass Pughs Garden Centre on the left, a bit further on nearly opposite you'll find the tynant inn on your right. (from the j32 to the inn takes about 5 mins total, its pretty straight forward)
The meet will consist of meeting at inn, food and drink there, then a
convoy to the Beacons where we'll undertake another stop)
ps The more the merrier
Hope to see you all there
Chris

With luck and a following wind, I will be there. My fingers are crossed that i can pick up my car today (friday 6th oct). I was supposed to pick it up yesterday but the garage discovered a nasty rocker cover oil leak which was flowing (literally) onto the exhaust manifold which as you can imagine, caused plenty of smoke. I ordered a new gasket from GGR yesterday and true to their word, it arrived at the garage first thing today, thanks guys!. Hopefully, it'll solve the problem!
They swapped the Phased 1 ecu for a standard Version IV and commented 'It's a bit slower now'.
I'll be bringing the little ones with me.

Well done Chris, thanks for organising the day, what an excellent turn out for the first Welsh Meet. Hope this is the foundation for further Welsh Meets.
Thanks to the South West Gang for making the trip over the water. Hope to see you all on the Exmoor outing!
When I close my eyes I can still see Mad Bob in my rear view mirror inches from my tail!
See you soon.

Thanks again, looking forward to the next one.

Hi
Had a great time and a fantastic days driving, I will be back for more.
Plodwyn/
Sorry if I was sat on your tailpipe but if I lost the leader then I would be stuck not knowing where the hell I was.
Hope to see some of you on the Exmoor run. I will be heading the slow convoy to the tea rooms.

Many thanks to the organisers.
Nice selection of cars turned out.
I hope it won't be too long before someone posts some pics. { I'll be looking tomorrow Neil. You remembered me from those PE days eventually }
Good day out and nice to run with some fellow enthusiastic Scooby owners.
I think we had better have the final destination before we set off next time though and exchange a few mobile numbers in case any of us get lost again.
Very nice of the PC to pull us over and tell us where we should be going.
Oh, and some tacky name tags with real names and Scoobynet Usernames might be handy. I'm crap at remembering names.
