Towing with the Scoob.

Had the removeable tow bar fitted and trotted off on holiday with the caravan and basically the Scoob is an excellent tow car
4WD and good torque meant that the hills presented no problem at all and hatchbacks still struggled to keep up

Oh Mr P*** J***** how can you put a wobbly wagon on the back of the Sport. You will have to take it out of 3rd now, and no chance of giving them Turbo boys a run for their money on the twisties. I suppose if we get a day out with the Sportsters your van can be the refreshment tent. I don't mean it see you on our site soon. Chris

A local mag (Caravan and Outdoor life) in their July edition actually tested out a GX wagon and WRX sedan:
"So in conclusion, if the Impreza was the last car you would expect to find
in a lifestyle magazine, you were wrong. The WRX is an ideal car for a
younger (at heart) couple who enjoy travelling with something like a jetski
in tow. The WRX is even suited to towing a caravan, there is a large boot,
plenty of torque, all wheel drive and enough weight to legally tow a large
percentage of caravans on the market. We just wouldn't want to fit the fuel
bill though!
...
But how about throwing the cat amongst the pigeons and going out and buying
yourself a WRX sportwagon? That may well be the ultimate family lifestyle
vehicle. Go on, give the Impreza a look."

MPG was low I'd estimate that I was probably getting around the 200 mile out of the tank mark. Still, you get to where you want to go, set up and your free to tour in the Scoob and enjoy the twisties
