Not as drastic as it sounds!!!
Call me paranoid, but what have people done with their Scoob whilst having people round to view the house?
I'm just being over-cautious.....

Now this is being too paranoid mate.....
If people are coming to view your house then they are (99.99% of the time) wanting to buy a house... not case the joint or steal a car...
You were probably in the same situation once, I know I was, and was a lot more interested in the house than the car on the drive....
If you are that worried then park it round the corner (out of sight ), or at a mates house or just leave it on the road outside (could be visitors car
Sorry for the rant, but it is only a car (I know... I have one too), and if someone wants to nick it then they will probably not go to the trouble of 'house hunting' to see where the scoobies live.....
And by the way.... You ARE paranoid....

Thanks for the 'comments'......
The reason behind this post is that the surrounding area is well, dodgy.
You may well recall alot of Scooby/Evo attacks in the Stourbridge area.
Yes. You're right. I'm paranoid. My car spends most of its time in the alarmed garage.
I alarm it on the petrol station forecourt.
If this is what I have to do, then fine. I. like most other people on this bbs, have worked (and are still working!!) too hard to buy my dream car.
I'm sure I'm not alone in my wierd thinking......
Dan (who called me paranoid??? )

THANKYOU Spudgun......
At last - a sensible answer!! hadn't actually thought of a cover, but I've just found a company in the back of EVO. Gonna give 'em a ring tomorrow.
Puff - that's probably the funniest thing I've heard in ages. When I want a pointless answer, rest assured, you'll be the one I ask!!!
N.B before anybody posts "well, it's a pointless question" - it's not pointless to me.

in this day and age of car theft, you have to do ALL u can.
if the cars your pride and joy, which it is, then i dont see your post as overly paranoid, just someone asking for advice.
happy to help, and let us know if it works, i may be interested in getting one

Dan,
i don't know exactly where you live, but an e-mail went around work last week saying that in the previous week NINETY FOUR cars had been broken into or stolen in the Solihull area. It is believed that a bunch of ***** in a silver Astra are the main culprits.
Be careful, but don't let paranoia rule your life. Hey, why not photograph anyone who comes to see your house (and take their car reg.)?

Cheers Boomer - great idea!
I'm desperately trying not to be over-paranoid, but 2 of the last 4 cars I've had were nicked. Just trying to stop the trend.
