......Has anyone on this board owned one ?? What were your impressions ? cost of ownership etc... any problems with it etc.??

Very good friend has a 968 sport (not club sport) - he loves it, I've driven it and can see why. Beautiful handling, so balanced, fabtastic 'straight leg' driving position, quick-ish but little more std UK impreza quick even once on the move, but n/a so more flexible, very spacious for what it is. Sounds poor, 3.0 straight four-cyl, but apart from that very nice..
BUT..it has cost a fair bit. In 2 years or so he must have spent over £15000 in servicing and repairs/improvements
However it is probably worth not far off what he paid for it, and has never had any reliability problems - and lets face it, I ran an impreza for 16 months and it cost me over £17000 PER YEAR so the 968 could almost be seen as a bargain
