Question

Has anyone had any experience of Park Lane Motors in Alton - either on the servicing or sales front?

Hi Lion

I bought my new B4 RSK from Clive at Park Lane. Clive looked after me well, although they are slightly more expensive than some other importers. I had a couple of things wrong with the car ie cracked light cover. They changed the items on the spot - Job Done.

If you get the price right then I would reconmend them highly.

Got my car there too - helpful, flexible and understanding in servicing a 'modified car'.

Slighty more expensive sticker price...

...oh and a Touring Car driver works there (James Kaye).

Very good over 30k miles of ownership and servicing.

I bought my Legacy RS from Richard Duveen at Park Lane about 18 months ago. Very professional and a pain-free experience. Phil in their Parts department has helped me out a couple of times - very knowledgeable and efficient, returns phone calls, makes sure the part is right for the car before I buy it. Happy to recommend them.

I had the "5th gear nut loose" problem on my STi V. One garage in wiltshire said that I'd be looking at £3,000 for a gearbox rebuild, Park Lane did it for £600!

Thanks Guys, looks like they've a reasonable reputation.

Must admit, if I owned, or worked, in a similar establishment, I'd have at least a couple of ids on bulletin boards to praise my own business - but then again I'm a sneaky kind of guy
I suppose I was expecting a more mixed reaction (but then again I am used to the TVR boards)

I have to say I'm impressed with the number + quality of posts around here - I'll make sure I hang around for a bit

Cheers

(British) Lion

Hello

I bought my Toyota Supra from them (and sold them my Subaru WRX Sti Type-R!) and found them very good.

Knowledgable sales staff and generally helpful

Steve
