Blimey...
Just got this sent to me from a Cossie loving mate, and I openly admit I love Cossies too...
But this is about the new Focus RS due in October, that will be kitted with Brembos, front wheel drive and the WRC inspired water to air cooled intercooler:
"'We've done lap after lap around the Nurburgring, which is a real killer on brakes, and we've had no issue with fade at all. We've also done 180 km/h to zero stops in the region of 4.5 or 4.6 sec, which is 911 territory.'
Now thats proper quick!

very useful when eye-ing up the competition at the traffic lights (I jest of course )
the only vehicel i'd like to see added is the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R, although this may not be in the list 'cos it's not currently in production?

Agreed - they are definitely not manufacturer's figures, so will vary from tester to tester, magazine to magazine. A lot do seem to be from Autocar though, but there seem to be more engine variants listed, so presumably there are a variety of sources?

I like the figures but some are not that accurate i think.
The prodrive wr for instance, ive got a MY00 PPP'd car, my 1/4 mile times were in the low 14's and even in the high 13's (13.93) and that was with me naffing up the launch and bogging me turbo down but the guy with the standard uk turbo (MY99) with just an exaust, dp back was getting 13.32
Its a nice thing to see but dont take it as gospal

Must be fantastically accurate figures... after all, it says the 2l UK STI (P1) is faster than the 2.2l 22B... Even a UK detuned 22b should accelerate quicker than the UK detuned STI... it's a simple matter of torque. Ho hum.
