The price of UL varies over here from approx 66 - 78 ppl depending on the area you visit
For SUL you can expect to pay about 85-90 ppl

Question

Just a quick question to you all.

I am off to the Repulic of Ireland this weekend on holiday and was wondering how expensive UL Petrol is in the country. Should I fill up before I leave the port? I would hope that they do not have to pay anything like our "rip-off" prices, but does anyone know?

When quoting prices please indicate whether it is in Sterling or Irish currency.

Thanks for your help..........

I paid 71.9p in punts when filling up a hire car just outside Cork airport. I wouldn't mind betting you can find cheaper elsewhere. According to

Texaco stations usually stock SUL . The cheapest petrol is usually at the stations on the border with Northern Ireland .

I have noticed that MAXOL garages seem to have stopped stocking SUL. So don't bother with them :/
